A SAMPLE OF COMPLETED CONSULTING PROJECTS

Identification of Top Performers

The gold-standard of excellence in golf instruction has been GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in America. For over a decade, Performance Matters has assisted in researching and recognizing the best of the best golf teachers. From pinpointing selection criteria, through data collection and analysis to final selection of the Top 100, Performance Matters helped insure the process was thorough, reliable, cost-effective, and accurate.

Keys to Superior Performance

Why do people use your services – or not? In an effort to attract more subscribers, a national magazine wanted to know what attracted and what dissuaded readers from feature articles. Using an extensive sampling process, and an array of differently formatted articles, Performance Matters not only identified the top 5 attractors, and top 5 distracters, but was also able to rank order the priority of these performance factors and identify potent combinations of factors for the editors. The result? The magazine moved from Number 2 in sales to Number 1 within a year.

Redesign Training and Development

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) prides itself on providing certification programs for golf instructors that are second to none. In order to keep their programs fresh and at the forefront of the industry, the LPGA turns to Performance Matters for research into the effectiveness of their programs. Using a variety of analytic techniques, we were able to identify the strengths of the current programs and target areas of improvement. Using our research and resources from other researchers, we were able to help the LPGA restructure its' programs to remain an international leader in the industry.
